First, don’t worry. We love to get plants ID’d to species, but it’s not required to participate. Many people find it deeply rewarding to learn how to ID their plants, however, and there are a couple of ways you might go about getting a correct ID for your plant: first, let the Habitat Network community help. Providing close-up images of leaves, bark, and flowers of your plants will help others suggest identifications of your plant. Or, you can use the USDA PLANTS database.
